About

Create/Open Project

Opens the Project Wizard dialog box where you can create or open a Cable Scheduler Project.

Open Project

Opens the Project Wizard dialog box where you can open a Cable Scheduler Project.

Update Elecdes Project

Under normal operation Cable Scheduler will update the Elecdes project with any changes that have been made during the session. However using this button you can force an update without exiting Cable Scheduler possibly to share your changes with another EDS user.

Synchronise with drawings

Imports all the Elecdes/Paneldes components from the drawings in the current project into Cable Scheduler.

Back

Navigates to the last selected folder/component.

Forward

Navigates forward if the Back operation was performed.

Edit View

Switches to the Edit View.

List View

Switches to the List View.

Connection View

Switches to the Connection View.

Tag Mode / Ratings Mode

If you have selected a component in the tree, you can choose to edit either the tag record or the rating record of the component. The editors on the right of the Cable Scheduler window will display either one of these records, however not both.

To edit the tag records, click the TAG button on the tool bar.
To edit the rating records of the components, click the ratings button on the tool bar.

Enable synchronisation with AutoCAD P&ID

Enables/Disables synchronisation with the linked P&ID Database tables. See more.

Enable fetching data from a linked PID database

Enables/Disables fetching data from the linked P&ID. See more.

Indicates presence of unresolved issues and displays raised issues dialog

Opens the Raised issues dialog, where you can create, view or resolve raised issues.

The appearance of the button indicates whether or not there are unresolved issues.

indicates there are no issues or all existing issues have been resolved.

indicates that there is at least one unresolved issue.

Load or save column filters for the component list view

If there are any active filters in the current view, opens a dialog box where you can save the current filters.

If there are no active filters in the current view, opens a dialog box where you can load any saved filters.

Clear all of the current column filters from the list view

Clears all the current column filters from the list view.

This button is disabled if there are no active filters in the current view.

Find a Component

Opens a dialog box listing all the components in the current project.

Selecting a component in this dialog box will navigate you to its record.

Find an Output Diagram

Opens a dialog box listing all the Output diagrams in the current project.

Selecting a diagram in this dialog box will navigate you to its record.
