How to Create a Wiring Diagram or Terminal Strip

Wiring Diagram Generator

The Wiring Diagram Generator is a tool for automatically creating wiring diagrams and terminal strips from the component and conductor information of your schematic and instrument loop drawings. The Wiring Diagram Generator is run from an Elecdes drawing session.

Procedure

1. Open the prototype drawing that you want to edit. ProtoEdit works with the current drawing.

2. Select Wiring Diagram from the Elecdes menu.

3. The Wiring Diagram Generator dialog will be displayed.

4. Choose the devices and terminal strips that you want to draw and then click the Create button.

5. The diagrams will be drawn at the location that you choose.
