Automatic license requests via email
Licence Manager attempts to send authorization code requests via email. SCADA systems will promptly validate the requests and return the codes.
This procedure requires communication with SCADA Systems and may take time [ possibly minutes and also possibly hours ].
It is advisable to book a time with a SCADA Systems engineer, prior to the request, to minimize delays.
Procedure

Start Licence Manager on the PC which requires licences.

Press the "Configure Licences" button. The configuration dialog will be displayed.

Once the licence information is entered.

Press the "Request Auth Code" button. Licence Manager will ask you for some identification information, then it will email an authorisation code request to SCADA Systems. If you do not have an accessible email system on your PC, then a text file will be created in your EDS installation directory named "Authcode Request.Txt". The contents of this file will need to be sent to your dealer or to SCADA Systems.

Once SCADA Systems receives a valid "request" you can be immediately sent codes for the new PC.
