Linking templates to a database manually
Prototype drawings are normal DWG format drawings with attribute items and text items added or replaced by Protogen text formulae. To link a template to a database manually, you can use the text edit command DDEDIT or the attribute edit command DDATTE, from the CAD session, to key in the formulae to these items.
The Protoedit module adds some automation to this procedure.
