How to Re-order Terminals in a Terminal Strip

The default order of the terminals that is extracted from your schematic or loop drawings may not be the same as you require for constructing your terminal strip. You can use the controls immediately to the right of the terminal list to move the terminals in the strip.

Procedure

  1. Open the T-Strip Edit dialog of the Wiring Diagram Generator and select the terminal strip that you want to edit.

  2. The terminal list is a multi-selection list. Select one or more terminals from the list that you want to move. Use the [Shift] or [Ctrl] keys while selecting terminals with the mouse to select more than one terminal.

    • Click the [Top] button to move the selected terminals to the top of the strip.

    • Click the [Up 1] button to move the selected terminals one position towards the top of the strip.

    • Click the [Dn 1] button to move the selected terminals one position towards the bottom of the strip.

    • Click the [Bot] button to move the selected terminals to the bottom of the strip.

    • Click the [1,2,3...] button to sort all of the terminals into ascending alphanumeric order.

    • Click the [1,2,3...] button again to sort all of the terminals into descending alphanumeric order.
