How to Draw a Dashed Box

This function will create a dashed rectangular polyline. These boxes can be used to mark any area of a drawing. They will not be recognised by the interconnection analysis.

The polyline is drawn on layer DOTBOX, which has a dashed linetype, see Layers.

Procedure

1. Select Dashed Box from the Elecdes > Drawing Macros menu.

2. You will be asked to pick the two corners of the box.

   "Pick first corner of box on dashed layer dotbox:"

   then "Pick second corner of box on dashed layer dotbox:"

3. A rectangle will be drawn, on layer "dotbox", using the two points specified.
