How to Select a Project to use

Fundamentals

Selecting a project opens a project file and loads the drawing list. Once selected, the project name and its configuration details will be displayed in the Ebase status windows. If no project has been selected then the status windows will contain question marks.

Recently used projects are available in the recent project list. Selecting a project from this list will set that project as your current project. Any other projects can be select with the following procedure.

Procedure

  1. Click on the Load/Create project button at the top left of the project dialog.

  2. You will be presented with a standard Windows file selection dialog. Select the project you wish to use and click OPEN.

  3. The project dialog will display the name of the project you have selected and will list the file names of the drawing files in the project in the drawing list box.

  4. Click the OK button to accept and return to EBASE

  5. If you wish to select no project then click the Set To None button.

Drag and Drop

You can use the windows drag and drop system to select your current project.

Simply drag and drop the PRJ file of interest (from windows explorer or similar) on to the Ebase Main dialog page. Ebase will switch all operations to that project immediately.

You can also drag and drop the PRJ file of interest (from windows explorer or similar) on to the Ebase ICON in the EDS program group and it will change projects.
