How to Represent an Earth Bar

A terminal that is marked as an earth bar can show an unlimited number of conductors. The terminal graphic for an earth bar is stretched automatically to fit the number of conductors that are connected.

You can specify that a terminal represents an earth bar from the schematic by setting the RSTATUS attribute or catalog column of the terminal to "BARTERM". The same terminal number should be used for all terminals that are connections to the same earth bar.

RSTATUS is a new attribute and would need to be added to terminal symbols from EDS versions prior to 8.0.

The conductors will all be shown on the one side that is the preferred side according to the Wirediag preferences for placing conductors on terminal strips.
