Layers Used for Wiring Diagrams
Select the layers for constructing wiring diagrams
The symbols and lines used to construct a wiring diagram can be placed on different layers.
Use these drop-down lists to select the layer on which to place each item. This allows user control of the color, line type etc. for the wiring diagram.
The layers listed in the drop down lists will be those in existence on the current drawing at the time the Wire Diagram Generator is started.
Construction Lines | The lines used for the body of the device |
Cable Lines | The lines used for cables on a terminal strip diagram |
Wire Leaders | The symbols representing the wires or cable cores (conductors) connected to terminals |
Wire Links | The lines used to represent a wire connecting one terminal to another on the same terminal strip |
Link Bars | The lines and blob symbols used to represent a bar linking terminals on the same terminal strip |
Screens | The lines used to represent a cable screen on a terminal strip diagram |
These settings can be found on the General tab page of the wiring diagram settings dialog.
