Extra Parts Table Symbols
General
Extra parts table symbols are provided to create a table of materials or extra parts on a hook-up or installation drawing. These are generally non-electrical parts, such as a relay base, a lamp bezel, a label holder, a handle, and mounting accessories such as screws and brackets.
Each extra parts table block represents one type of part and includes a quantity for that part and an identifier to refer to a hook-up or installation diagram on the same drawing. Graphically an extra parts table block looks like a single row from a table.
Ebase will add components from extra parts table blocks to the materials reports. For more information see How to add non-electrical parts to the bill of materials (Ebase).
Symbol File names
The file/block names for all of the supplied extra parts table symbols begin with a prefix of 'oe'.
e.g. "oeTable1.dwg" or "oeTable2.dwg".
The 'e' in the block name identifies the symbol as an extra parts table symbol.
The 'o' at the start of the block name, the orientation character, indicates that this symbol has no specific orientation. When a symbol with a 'o' start character is inserted you will be prompted to specify the rotation angle of the symbol. This is unlike Elecdes component symbols.
