How to Open an Excel Table

Procedure

1. Select Open->MS Excel Table from the File menu. The Open Microsoft Excel Table dialog box will appear allowing you to choose an MS Excel spreadsheet containing a dBase style table to open.

   

2. Click the [Choose Database] button and select an XLS or XLSX file containing the table you wish to open.

3. Choose the table you wish to open from the Tables list box.

4. Tick Scan for column headings in Excel Sheet, if your table has headers.

5. Click the [OK] button.
